Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!
As Christians, our behaviour must conform to the faith we profess. The profession of faith cannot be just be idealistic, it must be made incarnate in our lives. Paul, once the persecutor of Christ and all those that follow Him, imitates our Lord, and he calls us to do the same! Our Lord did not become incarnate and live among us just to please men. In all that He did, he sought to give glory to His Father; and Paul sought to give glory to God, first and foremost in all that he did and said. And seeking to give glory to God, we seek the greatest good for our fellow human being. It doesn’t matter if they are Christian or not; it does not matter if they are Ukrainian or not—each is made in the image and likeness of God. It is only then that we can seek good for ourselves. Catherine Doherty put this all in a small saying: I am third. God first, others second, me third.
