Read Luke 19:1-10
Christ is born! Glorify Him!
Zacchaeus wants to see Jesus so he climbs on a sycamore tree to get a better view. Zacchaeus shows his curiosity. It has been said that a sycamore tree is a dense tree and one could easily hide within it and not be seen. That Jesus sees Zacchaeus in the sycamore tree can be ascribed to either Jesus’ divine awareness or Jesus’ human astuteness. Jesus sees Zacchaeus and rewards him for his curiosity.
How much spiritual curiosity do you have? Since you are reading this reflection of “Royal Doors” you have some spiritual curiosity. Good for you! You have the spirit of Zacchaeus! Keep looking tomorrow and after tomorrow and maybe Jesus will want to stay in your home.
