Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!
Have you ever felt alone in your own faith? On the face of it, that may seem like a silly question for someone who comes from a large and ancient faith like Ukrainian Catholicism. However, many people who have had a personal encounter with Jesus feel at-a-loss to relate that experience to others. It is very possible to continue faithfully attending Church services and Holy Mysteries without discussing the Lord’s activity in your own personal life.
Today we read of the mutual strengthening of the Christians in Rome and St. Paul. People are talking about their faith and that leads to even more people being open to discussing it. St. Paul rejoices in the fact that they can mutually strengthen one another.
After letting the words of this epistle sink into your heart, I encourage you to examine your life with the question: “How has the Lord been active and present in my life personally?” Once you’ve done that, I would challenge you to share that insight with someone. People are anxious to break the ice about their walk with Christ, will you help them? You might find your faith encouraged and strengthened along the way!
