Read 2 Corinthians 12:10-19
Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!
Instead of all the incredible sign and wonders and miracles that the Lord accomplished through Paul, many of which are revealed in the Acts of the Apostles, making him equal to the superlative apostles (apostles of the highest degree), Paul focusses instead on the fact that he is merely an earthen vessel and that the Lord’s grace upon him gives him an ability to imitate Him in His self-giving and suffering.
Loving and serving others is the key to being a follower of the Lord Jesus. We, too, can do this. The Lord’s grace is set upon us. Even when we encounter opposition and misunderstanding like Paul, we can still love and serve. And if our eyes are open and we remain humble, we, too, like Paul, will see the Lord’s great and mighty wonders in our midst.
